Terms of Service (Terms & Conditions)

Welcome to Scan2bill.me (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Scan2bill.me website, mobile application, and related services. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

Scan2bill.me is a GST billing and invoicing tool designed for merchants and retailers in India.

• We help you create GST-compliant invoices and share UPI payment requests.
• We do not act as a Payment Gateway, Payment Aggregator, or bank.
• Payment verification is the sole responsibility of the merchant (via Soundbox, bank SMS, bank app, or any other method chosen by the merchant).
• We do not receive, hold, or process customer payments.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under Indian law to use the Platform.

• You are solely responsible for verifying that payment has been received before marking any bill as “Paid” and generating/downloading the GST invoice.
• You must ensure that all information entered on invoices (customer details, HSN/SAC, tax rates, etc.) is accurate.
• You are responsible for complying with all applicable GST, tax, and other laws.
• You must keep your login credentials secure.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Platform
• Use the service to process payments for prohibited goods/services

All rights in the Platform (software, design, logos, content) belong to us or our licensors. You receive only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any loss arising from incorrect payment verification by the merchant.
• We are not responsible for any GST notices, penalties, or disputes arising from invoices created on the Platform.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you to us in the preceding 3 months.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Platform at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Kolkata shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
